We wanted the STING 2 to improve on the flight characteristics of its proven predecessor for its various uses, while at the same time still being suitable for training. Another aim in development was to create a paraglider with performance data and handling which would make it appeal to all pilots who have the enjoyment of flying as a top priority.

The STING 2’s special feature: speed bar travel can be extended in just a few quick steps so the speed range available can be increased for free flight. This turns the EN-A glider suitable for learners into a mid-level EN-B glider, so the STING 2 evolves along with the pilot’s skills. The STING 2 combines modern paraglider design with excellent properties in thermal flying and top flight behaviour when used in motorised flight. This makes it the ideal glider for anyone who has great plans for their flying!
